Coitado do Ronaldo.
What do you do when you get caught with your pants down with three tranny hookers? How do you explain that you, an internationally-known soccer superstar, went out prowling the streets in search of some cheap hot ladies, but ended up with three busted ladyboys?
Brazil is known as the sex change capital of the world, so the fact that Ronaldo picked up one transsexual hooker by mistake might be excusable. But Ronaldo picked up THREE. Ronaldo alleges of course, that he had absolutely NOOOOO idea that these ladies were actually men. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you exhibit A, one of the tranny prostitutes, Andreia Albertine, born as Andre Luis Ribeiro Albertino:
Does that look like a lady to you? Look at those manly feet and hard masculine face. Come on, Ronaldo, did you go blind temporarily? A weave and a dress, does not a lady make. Just admit that you were looking for some he-she love and be out with it. Lance Bass came out, so can you.
For those of you who can understand Portuguese, I'm embedding his interview with the Brazilian television network Globo. If the video doesn't play, click here to watch it on Globo's site.
I'll pull out some highlight quotes for the rest of you:
"As soon as I found out they weren't what I was looking for, I pulled my team from the field."
"It was an isolated and stupid act."
"I didn't do drugs, I've never done drugs in my life."
"I'm completely heterosexual, about this I have no doubts."
Albertine tried to extort $30,000 from Ronaldo once he tried to back out of the programa, as Ronaldo refers to it. Andreia has been hamming it up for the media hawking his/her version of the story and making claims that Ronaldo did have sex with some of the tranny hookers and that he was half-drunk and drugged up. Ronaldo denies all these claims.
The fallout from this whole scandal has just begun to start. Brazilians are all shaking their heads and wondering aloud why Ronaldo was trolling for cheap thrills in the first place. As a millionaire, he could've bought the best that money can buy. At least Eliot Spitzer got caught with expensive poon. Ronaldo claims in his interview with Globo that the scandal won't affect his position as a UNICEF ambassador, but UNICEF is disavowing he ever even WAS an ambassador for the organization. He's also already lost an endorsement deal with cell phone company TIM because of trannygate.
