Folks were feeling really melodic on the red carpet yesterday at the BET Awards. Musiq, who is rocking the fauxhawk just like Chris Brown, sang a lil' bit of his jam "Teach Me." Then they caught up with Soulja Boy and he bragged about buying a lamborghini without a co-signer. *sigh* Watch the video from the AP.

One thing that nobody at the BET Awards was shy about was shouting out Barack Obama. Now, personal politics aside, I thought this was a bit unnecessary. Granted, it's no surprise that the majority of people at the BET Awards AREN'T shilling for John McCain, but damn, that's no need to show out. It was like an episode from "The Boondocks." Black folks were acting a damn fool and getting giddy and skippy, patting themselves on the back about the first "black" president before the man is even elected. LOL.
