D.L. was picked as the BET Awards Emcee (not necessarily who I would've picked but hey.....) and he was asked about his thoughts on the BET Awards. Watch his interview with the AP below. It also includes a clip of Neyo's rehearsal for the show tonight.
DL's kind of right. The BET Awards have really evolved into an exciting event that rivals MTV's VMAs. They have hot performances, great comedians and plenty of surprises. Unfortunately, like the VMAs, not many people take their "awards" seriously, like they do the Grammys, but hey, it's a fun show.
