SMH. Rihanna, you're a professional now. Why are you making rookie mistakes?
Rihanna took over Rockefeller Plaza today on the "Today Show" and while she was singing her smash hit "Umbrella," she decided to let a little girl sing the hook a bit. The problem is she let her sing the hook right into the second verse and then Rihanna couldn't jump back in to the song, so she just fudged it and tottered around the stage until the second chorus kicked in. Watch for yourself:
Was she up late the night before with Chris Breezy "taking her down?" Rihanna needs to focus.
On another note, why the hell doesn't this chick DANCE? She puts out dance songs and she just bounces and struts around the stage. What gives? Is she allergic to choreography? She used to dance when she was promoting her last album, and when she was initially promoting "Umbrella" she was doing dance routines. Did someone tell her that "real" musicians don't dance? If so, she's misguided for believing them and misguided for considering herself a "real" musician. She's a pop princess, there's no point in trying to pose as anything else.
Two more videos of Rihanna performing "Take A Bow" and "Don't Stop The Music" after the jump and a slide show of images from the show.
