Britney Spears' comeback single, "Womanizer," has hit the Internets and reactions have been mixed so far.
Thoughts: Maybe if we both lived in a different world /It would be all good, and maybe I could be ya girl /But I can't
'cause we don't
- The track isn't as catchy or as strong as "Gimme More," her last comeback single.
- The song gets better on subsequent listens, especially the hook.
- The verses have weird vocals on them. Whoever advised Britney to sing them in a deep frog voice should be slapped.
- She's been paying attention to Danity Kane. "Womanizer" borrows the "Damaged" stutter trick.
- I think Britney might've done some co-writing on this song. Only she could be responsible for craptastic lyrics like:
That nonsensical, unpoetic mishmash sounds like something Sarah Palin would say.
- The song could do decently if paired with a remarkable video.
I wonder if K-Fed is feeling hot under the collar about this track. It seems to reek of vengeance and spite toward a former lover.
