Wow, those cats at JIVE have wasted no time. It's official: Britney will be releasing a brand-new album on her 27th birthday appropriately titled -- hold your breath -- "Circus." Really? I know her life has been a complete circus for the past year, but I hope we don't get a whole album of Britney whining about how the media are so mean to her. She can save those crocodile tears for her likely-to-be-ghost-written memoirs.
Also, I don't think T-Pain will be too pleased with this. The title is kind of stepping on his toes and his whole Barnum & Bailey scthick. His new album, "Thr33 Ringz" is slated for release this fall as well. Frankly, Britney is probably better off letting T-Pain tackle the circus theme. Christina Aguilera didn't get much gas out of it when she tapped it for her power balllad "Hurt."
My suggestions for Britney's new album title:
- Dazed and Confused
- More Than a Babymama
- It Ain't My Fault
- I May Be a Train Wreck but I'm Still Famous
- Take me back, Justin
The first single is going to be called "Womanizer." Gee, I hope K-Fed isn't offended. Although to be fair, that song could also be about Adnan. The single is expected to hit the internets and radio on September 22nd so it's on folks. Britney's back. I just hope she has something interesting to say.
