Can I please ask you why Jimmy Kimmel AND Charlie Gibson find the raping of an 11-year-old boy hilarious and great late night talk show fodder?
Oh, 'cause that little boy grew up to by 'Lil Wayne. Watch this video at 2:40
Um, I'm preeeeetty sure what 'Lil Wayne described right there is called rape.
I guess what happened before the show is Jimmy's producers and researchers heard some rumor about 'Lil Wayne losing his virginity at 11 and thought it'd make for a great story. I mean, this is the man who now raps about seducing female police officers, so his sexual prowess starting at 11 just shows how strong it is, right? I mean, Red Hot Chili Peppers lead-singer Anthony Kiedis lost his when he was 12.
What the hell is wrong with these people... Jimmy Kimmel, you're an idiot. And Charlie Gibson, I'm disappointed in you. You should'a known better especially as a journalist. I mean, you've filed reports on rape and domestic abuse among teens before. Well apparently even those were a little off and portrayed physical and sexual abuse as if teenage girls were the only victims, even though statistics show a high rate of young and teen boys are victims, too.
Most of all, why was there no public outcry when this interview first aired? Did no one even realize what 'Lil Wayne said? It's obvious that the experience was not a positive one at all and, judging by his reaction to it, it was something really painful. When will we stop casting sexual experiences like this as young men making sexual conquests when infact these are incidents of serious sexual abuse? I guess when you're a young, black male who's viewed as hyper-sexual, you can't ever get raped. Even when you were 11.
