Needless to say the manties weren't the business and Spec's use of them immediately raised eyebrows and caused people to hold their breath. Then this bamma did a twirl and started grindin' his hips and feelin' on himself, sticking his tongue out like a damn iguana, all while making horrible "sexy faces." It was a catastrophic train wreck. To compound matters, Sexy Spec "challenged" other male R&B singers to a "grind off" to see who grinds the best. Trey Songz, Omarion and Willie of Day 26 had a field day with that laughable challenge and at Sexy Spec himself. Watch the disaster yourself.
Once the blogospehre and the Twitterverse began to pummel Sexy Spec, he pulled the Youtube clip and deleted his original Tweet. He hid behind the teenage female Pretty Ricky stans, claiming that the video was for the ladies and that if any man watched or commented on the clip, he was gay. Uh, genius you were CHALLENGING other dudes to a grind off, meaning you expected them to watch the clip and do one of their own so you could judge. He's been spinning, whining and crying ever since the backlash happened and trumping up false bravado like "Ya girl liked it tho." Yeah, actually your target female demographic was horrified by it.
Let this be a lesson to celebrities: Tweeting can hurt.
