LaToya Jackson has long been the black sheep of the Jackson clan. She's been like a puppy trailing after her more famous siblings, Janet and Michael, imitating their looks and following in their plastic surgery footsteps. (You wouldn't be remiss for mistaking LaToya for Mike in some pics) And like her father Joe Jackson, LaToya has already had a desperate, cheap air about her. She sold out her brother to the media back in the 90s (she claims she was under "mind control" at the time...) throwing shade on his name, casting Michael's associations with young boys under a suspicious light. The family did forgive LaToya for her transgressions and welcomed her back to the fold. But still it's clear she'll turn on her family for a dime.
And now that her dear brother has died, LaToya sees his death as the perfect stepping stone to re-launch her tepid music career. Just like her father found it appropriate to announce he's launching a record label during interviews about his son's death. LaToya really is Joe Jackson's daughter. Here's the artwork for her MJ tribute single, "Home."
