Oops! Diddy did it again. He drove ANOTHER one of his proteges, his roaddawgs, his homies into the arms of theological sanctity.
It was odd when Diddy's shiny suit partner-in-crime Mase traded in life with Diddy for life with the Deity, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mase not only dropped Bad Boy for faith, but he even became a PASTOR! Many have surmised (ok, it's really just me) that Mase turned to faith because after dancing with the devil (Diddy), he felt like his soul was unclean. Or maybe he turned to God when he realized with a hellish contract he was in with Bad Boy? Who knows.
Now joining Mase in the realm of theological conversion is Loon. He wasn't that famous so you're forgiven if you don't remember him. Yes, Loon, best known for his verse of Diddy & Usher's "I Need A Girl," is a full-bearded, white robe wearing Muslim and has thoroughly committed himself to Allah and the study of Islam. Say what?!
Arab news network Al-Jazeera interviewed the former Bad Boy and the reporter didn't seem to take Loon's conversion too seriously. He kept prompting and prodding the former Bad Boy artist to drop some hot rhymes about Islam, now that he'd changed his name to Amir Muhadith and converted. Watch.
At this rate, Diddy's gonna help the Catholic Church fill up their priest and nun shortages. Working with Diddy clearly makes them want to run into the arms of the Lord. Can we expect Aubrey O'Day to announce a conversion to Hinduism in the near future?
