The most talented member of the Jackson family, Michael, has passed away and left the family picking up the pieces of their lives. Which of course means that for his brothers, they gotta get back to looking for work! It's no secret that the only Jacksons who were seeing fame and success in their careers were Michael and Janet. Jermaine Jackson had somewhat of a solo career, but that thing died in the 80s with He-Man.
The Not-Michaels had gathered together before MJ's death and convinced some network, A&E, to buy a reality show special following them around...doing what, I do not know. But I bet you LaToya makes a cameo. Well, in light of their younger brother's passing the execs at A&E are rethinking the tone of the brothers' reality TV show. I'm not sure why this is necessary though. If it's "reality" TV, you can't edit or change the tone of that. The footage took place before Michael passed. And what do they want edited? Did something pop off at the mouth about Michael? I bet you they did. Tito probably said, "Forget Michael! We don't need him." Entertainment Weekly has the story about the show and the execs' decision to retool the program.
"We have started discussing internally and with the family but have not yet decided what direction to take with the show," A&E execs told Hollywood Reporter in a statement. "We are respecting the family's wishes right now, and at the appropriate time we will all decide what direction this program to take, so stay tuned."
The easiest solution would appear to be to just shoot a whole new reality show about the Jacksons and how they're coping with life without Michael. Somebody's gonna jump on that anyway. Might as well be A&E.
