Not only does Kanye West snatch microphones and hopes and dreams from doe-eyed, innocent country pop stars, he also sings, raps and produces some of the best pop music released in recent years. But beyond the music and the ego, Kanye has always been very passionate about film and visual media. Remember when he recorded THREE different music videos for his powerful anthem "Jesus Walks"?
Well, Kanye has turned to one of the best in the biz for his first real foray into acting: Spike Jonze. The two collaborated on this project, "We Were Once A Fairytale," earlier this year but the film is just now making its premiere. The main themes of the film are consistent with the themes Kanye has been talking about on "808s and Heartbreak": Loneliness, depression, bitterness, frustration, fame, ego and a whole lot of alcohol abuse. I don't want to give away much more than that because the film has some "WHOA!" moments that shouldn't be spoiled.

Not bad, Kanye. He certainly acts better than Beyonce, but that's a low bar to clear anyway. It's sort like saying someone sings better than Cassie.
