For all those who believe that Rihanna's "Russian Roulette" is a sign of her covenant with the devil, ease up. It's just a metaphor. The singer sat down and broke down exactly what the song meant for her.
"It was about being in a relationship and being afraid of getting hurt in the end," said Rihanna. "Which is kind of the same feeling you go through playing the game of Russian Roulette. You know that somebody could get hurt in the end, and you're just terrified that it's gonna be you."
Watch Rihanna's interview with Reuters in which she explains the meaning of "Russian Roulette."
Even though Rihanna clearly lost the last time she played "Russian Roulette" with Chris Brown, paying a costly physical price, the singer still expressed hope that she would find REAL love one day. Rihanna also rejected developing any sort of embittered bias toward ALL men. Sorry, lezzie Rihanna fans, she's not jumping ship from U.S.S. Man yet.
