Rihanna teamed up with Nokia on Monday and performed a few tracks from her new album "Rated R" in front of a live audience, broadcast on the web worldwide. She opened her set with the "teaser" single "Wait Your Turn" and the public warmly received her with rousing applause.

The outfit is immaculately styled. It's equal parts Jack Sparrow, Michael Jackson, Beyonce and Lady Gaga. The best of multiple worlds. It's a shame, however, that her performances aren't nearly as thought out as her wardrobe. Rihanna mostly wanders onstage, while giving a warbly vocal performance. The one time she sells the song with some body language is when she pornographically gyrates her crotch and runs her hand down under crowing, "I'm such a f**king lady."
We can only hope that as Rihanna gets back into the swing of things she puts more work into her stagecraft. Lady Gaga, can Rihanna borrow Laurie Ann Gibson for a minute?
