The self-proclaimed "Baddest Bitch" wants everyone to know that it may be a recession for the rest of the world, but not for Trina. In her new song "That's My Attitude," Trina spits, "Money over everything, I'm all about my change, I'm still rich, I'm still the baddest bitch in the game." The Miami-bred rapper is more known for her plumped up backside than her rhymes, but with Nicki Minaj bringing female rap back, Trina might as well give it another shot.
"That's My Attitude" is Trina's "street single" (her label's words not mine) and photos from the video shoot affirm even further that the diamond life is what Trina is still after. She's got cars, weaves and plenty of backshots to please the loyal Trina stans and Black Tail fans. The only thing that's changed is that she's pulled in the high-heeled, pantsless background dancers that Beyonce made all the rage. It hasn't been announced yet, but judging by the photo Trina might be debuting her own version of Sasha Fierce: LaTaniqua Bold.
The song itself is yet another rendition of the "I got more money, better designer outfits, my goodies are tasty and your man wants me" songs that put Trina on the spotlight in the first place. Change may have come to the White House but it hasn't hit female rappers.
