In an interview with TV Guide, Katy revealed that she has been hitting the studio with The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. She didn't cite them by name (does she not remember their names?), but Katy said:
"I was in Las Vegas about a week ago, working on the new record with some amazing producers that worked with Beyonce and the "Single Ladies" and the "Umbrellas" for Rihanna."

Let's hope Katy Perry's second album is more tolerable than her debut. "I Kissed A Girl" induced nausea and migraines after the 400th listen. And kudos to The-Dream and Tricky for stepping their stock up. Isn't this the first white female mainstream pop artist they've worked with? No, Mariah doesn't count. She's a quarter black, you know how that one-drop rule works.
