The "I Will Always Love You" singer is on an international tour and her latest stop in Brisbane, Australia left a sour taste in the mouths of concertgoers. Charging as much as $165 per ticket, Whitney looked exhausted and sounded worn out as she attempted to run through her hits. Fans were none too impressed as you can see above in the clip from Reuters. The kiss of death was one fan saying, "She couldn't entertain a dead rat."
This isn't the first time Whitney Houston has been criticized for her subpar vocal performances. Let's face it: The "voice" Whitney Houston had in her hey day withered away with her rampant substance abuse. Whitney Houston gets by these days purely on nostalgia and sympathy. People WANT to love Whitney because of who she USED to be, not who she is today. And there's no glossy Clive Davis makeover that can cover up that uncomfortable truth.
