After previously denying that she would be at the VMAs on Sunday, Rihanna made a surprise appearance in L.A., opening the show with Eminem performing their hit single "Love The Way You Lie." Things went off without a hitch and Rihanna looked heavenly. But what changed her mind?
If you have her tell it, Eminem just couldn't do it without her. He called her the day before and begged her to come out and do the song with him, Rihanna said in an interview with MTV. Magically, the producers of her film also happened to give her a day off from filming so, you know, everything just kind of clicked together. And she had no idea she would be having the day off beforehand when she gave that interview with ET. Fate and flying unicorns and stuff!
