Well this is a little odd. Somehow, Nicki Minaj got thrown in the mix with Washington politicians.
In a profile of newly elected Republican Florida senator and high profile Tea Party member Marco Rubio on ABC's Nightline, Rubio sheepishly admitted that he was a big Nicki Minaj fan. It sounds like Mr. Rubio might have a pink wig in his closet.
"I may not wanna tell you who my new favorite artist is...[*Interviewer: Nicki Minaj?*] She's really good tho...I'm just embarrassed cause...I'd probably hurt her record sales. She's good. She's funny."

And people say Nicki Minaj's music is nothing but hip pop fluff. Nicki the Ninja is bridging the gap between red states and blue states. Now all we need is for Obama to walk in to his next White House press conference to the vicious sounds of "Did It On 'Em."
