In today's music world, there singers and there are sangers. Well, there are also non-singers (no names), but this post is about someone with talent.
Producer Danja is best known for helming smash crossover records for Justin Timberlake ("SexyBack") and Britney Spears ("Gimme More"), but the producer has been helping to groom a stable of talented singer-songwriters in his backyard for quite some time.
Keri Hilson, who worked closely with Danja for Britney's Blackout album, was the first to get the spotlight, and now Luke James, who co-wrote with Danja for Britney's "Kill The Lights" on the Circus album, gets a crack at solo stardom.
James is signed to Danja's New Age Rockstars label and although Danja is known for his dense, intricate and complex productions, all of the promotional material for Luke James has been noticeably bare and stripped. This isn't coincidental.
“It’s all about the voice,” said Danja, in James' official bio. “And that’s what he’s captured on every record. Production doesn’t matter. No matter how sparse or grand I make it, he takes control and makes it about him.”

That falsetto is a deadly weapon. If Danja's production can complement the powerful vocal talent James seems to possess, then music lovers might be in for a treat.
