Mary J. Blige made a splash in an unexpected way with her Burger King chicken wrap commercial that went viral back in April. Although many found humor in the off-beat clip, Mary wanted to curl up into a ball and hide.
Speaking with Angie Martinez about the commercial fiasco for the first time, Mary called the whole incident a "learning experience" and a "mistake." But there's a silver lining, somewhat. The fallout from the commercial allowed Mary to see the green snakes in her green grass, so to speak, alluding to people within her inner circle who didn't show her support when she was under fire.
