The world wide web is a big, untamed place and I'm just one fish swimming in its vast, sometimes filthy, seas. With Bark + Bite, I hope to give you, the reader, a compelling and humorous take on the things that go on in the world of music and entertainment. This isn't a breaking news blog; we like to take things apart and stew over them here. Don't worry though, timeliness is still important so you won't find stale bread on this shelf.
The main focus of Bark + Bite is music. Other things — like movies, reality television and celebrity gossip — may come up, but everything is filtered through a music-influenced perspective. I dig almost all genres of music, save country, so feel free to shoot any cool tunes that I might not have heard my way.
The significance behind the name Bark + Bite? It's an allusion to the saying about a dog's bark being worse than its bite. This saying describes people who are empty vessels; people who make a whole lotta noise but have very little depth or meaning to them. Not so here. We bring both bark and bite, sinking our teeth into music content and letting thoughts, news and opinions fly at full speed. To quote a line from the great Beyonce, "talk like this cause we can back it up."
