Eminem's collaboration with Rihanna might have the whole world salivating these days, but back in his early Slim Shady days, Eminem united with Missy Elliott for a deliriously bizarre, wild ride of a track called "Busarhyme" for her 1999 sophomore album, Da Real World. Em's flow is nasal, but his voice sounds fresh, light and humorous, with none of the worn, weary, embittered baggage that he carries with him today. Maybe it's just us, but old Slim Shady trumps the new Eminem any day.
As for Missy, she too was at a creative and innovative peak that she hasn't duplicated since her album Under Construction. The panic and paranoid atmosphere that builds up in the song and boils over at 3 minutes into the song finds Missy in top form. "Don't shoot, Missy!"
