Kanye and Jay-Z release "N**gas in Paris" video a little late

So Kanye and Jay-Z finally got around to putting out a visual for their chart-topping hit, "Ni**gas in Paris." Unfortunately, it's just a concert video spliced together with footage from one of their stops on the Watch the Throne tour.

If only Jay-Z and Kanye had taken the time to conceive and film a hilarious (Will Ferrell could've guest starred!) visual to go along with this larger-than-life baller anthem. They could've, you know, actually gone to Paris to film it even. Instead, this concert video feels like little more than an afterthought. In this case, late really isn't that much better than never.

Madonna takes control with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. in "Give Me All Your Luvin'" video

The bitch is back. It's an Elton John song, but it's also a fitting description for Madonna's return to pop music for her 12th studio album, M.D.N.A..

The main message Madonna wants to send in her new video for her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" is that she's still here, she's still the shit and everyone else should bow down. She makes this point quite bluntly by casting two hot young things in pop music (ok, "young" is a relative term here), Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., as her very own brown cheerleaders, in a song that chants her name ("Madonna!") no less.

After initially embracing her protege, Lady Gaga, Madonna has lashed out at the younger singer's work as being nothing more than "reductive" imitations. This meant that the Madonna vs. Lady Gaga wars were officially on. And Little Monsters might not help but wonder if the baby in the "Luvin'" video is representative of Madonna's feelings toward Gaga. She strolls the baby out, fake breast feeds it and then discards it when she grows tired of it. Kind of like saying she made Gaga and she can just as easily dispose of her.

M.I.A. stunts in the Moroccan desert like a boss in "Bad Girls" video

Teaming up with "Born Free" director Romain Gavras, M.I.A. hits the Moroccan desert for what pretty much ends up being a North African version of The Fast and the Furious. It's all guns, girls and really fast cars.

Nicki Minaj and David Guetta throw out half-baked android saga for "Turn Me On" video

The nicest thing that can be said about Nicki Minaj and David Guetta's "Turn Me On" video is that it started out nicely. The opening frames of David Guetta putting together a fembot is actually pretty damn well done. Nicki Minaj's autotuned voice goes perfectly with the overall mechanically inspired imagery and delivery of the song.

But things quickly go nowhere once Nicki actually steps into the picture.

A$AP Rocky smokes, drinks and greets life in "Wassup" video

A$AP Rocky has kicked off 2012 in proper fashion. Today it was revealed that he will be featured on the cover of Complex Magazine alongside fashion designer Jeremy Scott, a pretty great day in itself. The cover takes inspiration from an art gallery poster featuring none other than Andy Warhol and John-Michel Basqiuat.

In typical A$AP fashion, Rocky made the day even better by dropping off the visuals for another track off his LiveLoveA$AP mixtape. The video for "Wassup" draws inspiration from several popular movies, as stated in the video's description: "inspired by Scarface, Belly, Enter The Dragon, The Warriors and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory."

Nicki Minaj laughs at the competition in "Stupid Hoe" video

In "Stupid Hoe," Nicki Minaj teams up with hip hop video legend Hype Williams for an eye-popping, technicolor, high budget, dress-up collage. The wigs and make-up change color frequently. There's Nicki in a pink wig, a black wig and a blonde wig. Oh, and there she is on all fours, throwin' it back like it was the night shift at Magic City. We've been here before with "Massive Attack," another Hype Williams and Nicki Minaj cartoon extravaganza.

And yet, this feels a little different. "Stupid Hoe" is by no means Nicki's best work, but the overall product has more intrigue than "Massive Attack" did.

Karmin makes a splash in "Crash Your Party" video

Karmin has no problems with being the freshmen in class. The dynamic duo, who spun their YouTube glory into a full-fledged record deal, are living the high life, now that their YouTube dreams have come true.

Over a sample of Black Sheep's signature track "The Choice Is Yours," Amy and Nick do the PC version of giving the middle finger to all of the big talkers in the world. While the song works as a takedown of a lover who's got a Kanye-sized ego, the video casts the song in a different light. The YouTube-to-Hollywood storyline makes it clear that the "party" Karmin is crashing is actually the music industry.

Guess you can call them the big, bad wolf cause Karmin isn't gonna stop huffing or puffing any time soon.

Rihanna puts on a freak show for her man in "You Da One" video

As devotional odes go, "You Da One" by Rihanna is one of the more aggressive affirmations of allegiance in pop music. With a twinge of reggae splashed with a sprinkling of dubstep, Rihanna honors her man completely, "Baby come, tear me now, hold me now / Make me come alive / You got the sweetest touch / I'm so happy, you came in my life."

The video doesn't feature a love interest, but Rihanna is clearly putting on a one-woman performance for somebody. She covers herself in white powder, makes kissy faces in old Hollywood shades and throws a few come hither winks at the camera. Oh, it's so enticing, don't try to fight it.
